Its been about a month since I received my Ultimate Survivor and Montauk Highway and I have an itch for a new ROO lol. But I have spent the past nights looking at every AP thread and emailed certain owners but they have yet to reply. I have a couple of models that are on the top of my list, the new V3 Diver is one of them, the Juan Pablo Montoya in platinum or rose gold is another and finally the T3 with the silver dial. Below are the pics of the watches. Does anybody have any info, stories on these watches. I love the RG JPM but i think the plating will scratch off easily and the watch will look like crap in a couple of years.

If your an AP fan, I can't imagine not having the V3 Diver. Looks to be the best one yet. I will let the experts chime in for ya though. ;) Best of luck.

Do you know what the difference in the movements? Is the Stelita worth the extra 80 for the 26J?

That v3 diver is dead sexy!

If the RG on the 2nd AP ever started coming off, couldn't you have a watch modder disassemble the RG watch and have it re-plated for you?

I usually buy the Asian ETA just to save the extra coin, but I am sure that Selita would be nice and clean. It's up to you really. My thinking is if it blows up on you in a year or 2, buy a gen movement and swap it out. It's a bit of a gamble. You could get both and flip the one you don't care for.

Thanks, I guess I could get it re plated but that just seems to be a pain and to be without the watch for a while lol. I think for long term speaking the blue jpm would be better. I do think I am going to get the v3 in the eta so I can buy either the t3 or the blue jpm.

Has anybody seen the blue jpm or the t3 in real life and not in camera shots on dealer sites?

Diver all the way. Very slick.

I agree.

I already pre ordered w/selita mvt.
I have a sw200. It is a work horse mvt, but it tends to run a bit fast.

I have seen the Blue theme gen at an AD...INMHO the rep doesn't come close
The gen color is much, much darker.
Good luck J. I think you will be happy with the V3

I have 7 watches with gen eta movements -- and the most accurate watch I have is the AP Diver with the a2836...

Lol I wish I could get all of them. I will hopefully have 10 APs by the end of the year.

I hope this year they come out with the legacy. But I am leaning towards the t3 and the diver right now :)

My rose gold, white gold and platinum watches are never used for daily beaters because of the scratch danger. Night time dinners and speacial occasions they are reserved for. Taken care of, they should last many years.

Do you have any rose gold APs? Yeah if I did get the JPM Rose Gold it would be a dinner watch.

Is there a visual difference between the stelita movement and the Asian 2824 clone in the v3?

I'm curious to know more about the T3....

I've been eying that one for quite a while, but the cost, coupled with the inevitable mods I will have Goin do, has kept me at bay for now....

I say Diver first.
Have you thought about the Safari or Chronopassion?

I have the Diver, The Montauk, and the Safari, and I wear the Safari the most out of all 3 recently:

Yeah and I hear the diver won't be released for three weeks too because of the holiday and crackdowns.

The t3 is a great looking watch and the best thing is that it's so much larger than the rest of the AP line up. What mods would you do?

I do like the safari but I like some of the other special editions a bit more. I like the scheme on the JPM with the nice side bumpers and the size and appearance of the t3. And I would like a water watch so to me it's between the diver v 3 and a Dssd and I like the diver more!
