Yeah. I was fussy so those subdials had to be on point. Which is why i rejected the first one.

I hate to ask, but I'm trying to follow what this JJ custom dial is all about. Is the primary advantage of this over the Clean dial the thickness of the subdials? or is there any other argument for the JJ custom dial?

Great question.
This is one of those dials where you really see JJ's true craftsmanship. The green colour is really outstanding, particularly in the sunlight compared to CF and the old Noob models. I was fussy with the subdials because I wanted them to be the true thickness like the gen. CF is close, but no cigar and still bothered me. It had to be dead right. It's just one of those examples where you have to see it in person. Photos don't really justify it. Plus I love this particular model.

I've never seen that before. Even the Daytona text lums by the look of it. I wonder if the gen is like this. Interesting, thanks for sharing.

Have you seen the recently released VSF 116508 green dial? Looks pretty damn good. I thought I was the only person to have ever noticed the thin outer subdials on these watches. Glad I'm not crazy for focusing so much on that. lol.

I think CF have it on point with their bezel. Both the font and font thickness and overall engravings are really good.
