My HBB Collection So Far... - Modem Burner

Just a short history, the first rep of this model comes with SS bezel with SS case, it is still a benchmark of today's rep standard.

Then... came TWP generous sale of RG bezel. Well... This piece is not 100% perfect. Has a scratch on the AR coating and the clasp didn't really close properly. Minor issue that I didn't report before:

The next HBB comes from a member's sale MEYER8888. AWESOME PRICE, AWESOME PIECE.

... then came the next one, this one I traded the RG with this Tuiga SS + I got some spare cash> A big regret on my part but this watch in any case one of the most accurate HBB rep out of box.

I did reluming on this piece which I have yet to take picture but it's definitely a keeper. Currently, I am eying to regain my RG HBB or better still, the Tuiga version. I love the look of RG + Polished bezel but I love the dial on Tuiga RG most. Maybe Tuiga with polished bezel? Dead giveaway will be the weight of these RG pieces. Tuiga SS = 150g, Tuiga RG = 150g :lol: How could it be?

those watches are so nice!! im gunna pull the trigger on my FIRST ever HBB!! Gunna get the black magic lite with ceramic bezel and the $100 AR option.. just waiting for angus to get back to me on a question before i send the dough.

You are most welcome I am in the midst of recovering from financial crisis Well... the next time, definitely that RG + Ceramic combo will be my next HBB purchase... or the White dial Swiss Soccer version (too bad this is not so accurate). I will definitely consider lite version and do AR coating afterwards. My suggestion is to get the one with hi beat movement without AR, that is a really good deal.

The Big Bang is really an amazing piece.
It's maybe one of the only watch I will buy twice : I'd love a RG version. Don't know which one yet. Of course the Tuiga would be a good choice, but 1000 dollars... :roll:

i've seen the tuiga GEN and RG ceramic while i was in singapore...they both look aawesome... but like taka said..the tuiga is spot on ..cost around SG$33k last year..

I was really surprised how quickly my HBB became one of my favorite watches. It is just so different and so distinctive looking. I have seriously considered an RG version.

That is a most excellent collection Taka San. You are snapping those puppies up like a Pam collector. I have not found another HBB that I like more than my RG ceramic, but the Black Magic comes very close.

I agree Hambone. I am going back to either RG Tuiga or RG Ceramic. There is simple an X factor about that polished ceramic bezel.

I thought the SS bezel and case looked amazing.
If I do a HBB, I think that's the one I will start with.
