Dealing with Josh was easy and quick, I would order from him again if Mary couldn't find me something. I've read reviews were the sausage lume is incorrect but when you have it in person you can't really tell. If you put it inches from your face, you can tell but I doubt anyone would ever notice when it's on your wrist.
That said, I think the 'feel' of Noob factory PAMS may be better than H factory. This one has a high beat movement and is working great so far, but the winding isn't as smooth as the Noob. Casing is slightly different than Noob, but I can't say if it's better or worse. One thing that isn't as good is the crown guard. Which leads me to my question.
Is the noob crownguard closer to gen than the h factory? The lever definitely feels better on the noob as it is tight and snaps well. The H is quite floppy so I did the glue mod which worked well.
Also, I noticed that the hex tube is thicker on the H factory wihch puts the crown farther from the case than the Noob. Again, which is closer to gen? The thicker H factory or thinner Noob?
The dial is amazing, army green, warm brown, it almost changes depending on the angle. I find it amazing that the factory was able to create such a thing at the price that we're paying. The gold hands just pop and the vintage lume adds to the appeal.
The leather rep strap is great as well. I think it's the same one that comes on the 247. Nice, thick, and nothing like crappy rep straps I've had from other watches. I applied some oil on it last night and it already has a slight vintage look to it. I think it will get a nice patina and to tell you the truth, it feels and looks like a $100 strap. So if you take that into consideration, the watch is an absolute steal.
