So I've been trying to test the accuracy of this and from yesterday morning till right now it seems that I am almost 100 seconds fast....

What is involved in tightening this up?

Try the Kello app if you have an iPhone. Most gens I see are +1-2 sec a day. I don't see a rep being "far more accurate"

Yep - I got it. I'm over 50 secs fast. I tested my other watches last night. My Gen Omega was -.5 and my rep PAM 112 was +2.

You should take it to a watchsmith, is not good for that kind of movement, hey, i have some 21J and are a LOT more accurate, so you should take it and let it be super accurate as it could be :D

Almost all of my 21j movements are within 5-10 seconds per day. The Asian 21j movement is plenty capable of being made accurate.

I have a 21J Sub, advance is 10 seconds per day. I bought it four years ago in the street in China (30 USD !), and works perfectly (I even swim with it).

Sometimes, 21J can be very accurate.

Just an update - have been wearing this just about everyday and noticed that it seemed to be gaining less and less time - did a quick Kello test last ngiht and it was 25 seconds fast with the crystal down and 15 with the crown up. That's close enough for me, so I'm glad I won't have to open it up.

I also took it into the pool this weekend, went to the bottom, no issues so even more happy that I didn't have to open it up.

They can freak out during shipping and tend to level out after a bit of normal wear. Good luck!

Did another test and I'm even lower now, down to 10 secs crown up. Glad I didn't rush out and open it up.

In other news, looks like the PO lost that new DRSD I had coming, so guess who's out $$$$....

Yep - no more USPS for me. FedEx only.

Now the hunt for another 1665 begins...

I had a belt buckle lost in the mail from USPS to Canada. It was lost at the USPS side. Nothing they could do. Honestly, 7 months later it showed up at the door. You never know if it'll turn up, it could still.

I only want to use USPS to Canada, because Fedex or UPS nails you with a massive fee and taxes etc for crossing the border. While I agree that Fedex and UPS are the best for inside US shipping only more then likely, USPS is still my go to.

I hope the watch shows up.

Thanks, I'm going to view it as a loss with the slight hope it will show up eventually.

So do you think the Kello app is worth it? Works as advertised?

I have it on my Iphone 4, and truth spoken, for the price, its very nice.

It may not be as accurate as a commercial grade timegrapher, but it gets the job done pretty well.
