Very nice. I'd say you got the correct movement. Love those Subs.

Looks like an Asian clone ETA to me. But the price was good, and it's overall a nice looking Sub. Sounds like it's running well and making you happy.
Congrats and Enjoy!

How did you adjust it - did you follow a there a guide in here?

It's very simple. There is an adjusting screw. Turn towards "-" and it will slow down, turn towards "+" and it will go faster. Each mark is approximatively +/- 5s/day.

nice :) You have to open the back of the watch to do that? What tool did you use?

Of course you need to open the back of teh watch. It is very simple to do with a ball case opener. You can find it on ebay like this : http://cgi.ebay.fr/HORB-Screwback-Case- ... 7C294%3A50

Wow what a beautiful watch... And someone told me that the engravings are horrible. This picture makes it look nice. This is the Noobmariner correct?

NVM. Just looking at all the genuine Submariner pics that have the engraving, they do not visually appear as much as the replicas do. In fact, the replicas really really show, that gives the genuinity of the watch away big time. The replicas engraving really shows even when afar. Up close, it's even hard to tell the engravings on the genuine Submariners.

I think it's because of the darkness of the replica's engravings that really gives it a show. I think if you can kind of silver-it up more with something so it blends into the SS around it, then it'll be more realistic.

The watch in the Original Post was purchased from Paul. Paul, if I am correct, is not a recommended dealer on RWI. The same watch can probably be found at many of the recommended dealers here in the Watch Experts section.
