My First Replica : Paul's Black Submariner

Hi everybody !

I'm new on your forum and I have bought my first replica, it's a Rolex Submariner Date (black). Here come the photos :















Finaly on my wrist !!!



I have bought it for 270$, it's the ref W-2042 So called Perfect Submariner. It has the engraved rehaut, I would have prefer no-engraved, but I have received this one wich is the latest version and is engraved like the lastest gen Rolex, the engraved is not too bad so why not ! The movement is supposed to be an ETA 2836-2 (normally a gen Eta, but after reading this forum i'm sure it's certainly a copy, but no way I know they are not bad movement so if it's accurate and work well it's not a problem for me) I have not open it , but I will do it and I will put photo when it would have been done.

It weight excatly 130 g, and the movement actually take + 18 second / day, I will wait about 2 weeks before trying to adjust the precision...

It looks greater in real than photos, I find it amazing !!!

And you guys, what do you think about it ?

Yes Paul as shipped it ! I have read here some topics about him (after my order) but he seems to have become reliable now. His site is well presented, his products are good and the price are correct. He answered my questions very fast and fast shipping too !


All guys thanks for your compliments about my photos (first time i take photos in macro and first time taking photos of a watch too !)

Hé les frenchy est-ce que vous avez déjà amené vos Rep chez un horloger pour réparation ou tout simplement pour régler la précision ? Je me doute que ça doit pas être évident de trouver un horloger qui accepte d'y toucher, à moins de trouver une petite boutique avec un horloger qui touche vraiment à tout sans autre considération pour savoir si c'est " une vraie ou une fausse " tant qu'il s'agit d'un vrai mouvement automatique !

yes i have mine in grenoble, Florian from this forum give me his adresse, i made servicing, reparing, and change my hublot dial. He can t do AR, reluming , and graphite... but it s cool to have one on his own city!

I don't know. I want to know wich are it's defaults.

I think :

- CG not bad but not perfect
- insert need to be recessed
- high of the glass need to be a little more important

Have you notice something else ?
