I like many others who have purchased from Andrew at Trusty Time, have today completed my transaction. My first purchase from Andrew arrived today.

Now bearing in mind, I paid, and ordered my watch on the 5th of Feb, and as you know, it's CNY soon after that date, but in saying that, communications continued during CNY with Andrew, and as soon as CNY was over, I received my QC photos, which I gave the green light on, and my Fedex tracking details were forwarded.

To see a detailed, step by step of the shipping tracking, check the link below..

I am more than happy with the watch I purchased, and of course the service that Andrew gave, so I hereby highly recommend Trust Time.

One important thing to note, when you are looking for a good quality rep, Andrews prices maybe a little more than other dealers, but once you have purchased from Trusty Time, you will see why, the overall communications are the quickest I have experienced, and the service, and transaction was smooth as silk.

When I sent my order through, and my WU payment, I accidentally sent too much, but knowing I needed a Submariner bracelet for an LV Sub I'm fixing up, I asked Andrew if he could include one with my purchase.

He took details of my LV, and got back to me the same day with the correct bracelet I needed complete with SEL's. This bracelet arrived today also, and it's brilliant, and fits perfectly.

That about sums up my experience from purchasing from Trusty time for the first time. It won't be my last purchase either. :)

I will add some photos of my purchase later today.

Have you used any of the TD's on RWI, as they can source the exact same watches as TT can, all you need to do is PM them and they can get them.

Not sure why you would want to use a Non TD, there is a reason they are not a TD here.

I'm unaware as to why Andrew is not a TD here, if you could PM me and update me, that would be great. I do plan my next purchase tomorrow from Trevor ;)

Andrew and Josh were selling asian clones as swiss as far as I remember.

Doesn't seem as big a deal these days with Swinese movements being about as good as you cn hope for if ordering "swiss"

^ do that. These guys offer a very nice selection and I have been very tempted.

But, when I think about why they are not a TD here anymore it just makes me want to hire a international hacking squad to shut their shit down. .

liars & cheats get crossed out in my book.

I forgot just how tricky is was to capture watches, I think I need to practice more, so more spending

Here's the Sub that arrived today from Andrew. The only issue I can find is the etched coronet @6 on the crystal, it's not quite right, but for the money I paid, I won't lose sleep over it.

Photos in no particular order, and any marks or blemishes are due to me not having a proper cleaning cloth, I did try, honest.

Enjoy!

Regardless of the dealer, I'll gladly pay more for responsiveness, communications, and a willingness to correct mistakes.

The only time i dealt with trustytime i was unsatisfied and won't do it again.
The order was a Ploprof that i ordered from them because none of TD here had in stock; they assured me they had it even when i asked to double check about avalaibility. After payment they discovered the watch was out of stock.........
I asked for full refund and after days of emails and getting as only response that i would be refunded ASAP, i finally changed my order with an Explorer 2 that after a few days using it the stem broke........of course i didn't ship back and the + $300 watch is actually sitting in a box........
Can't recommend this dealer.

I'm confused, why didn't you send the watch back and attempt to get another watch or repair the current one?

Back to the regular schedule program. I tried Andrew also, the Coronet on the bracelet was crooked. Andrew did send a replacement bracelet that would not stay latch.....

Because shipping is expensive from where i live and the stem is an easy fix if i find somebody that agrees in working on a rep. And in any case i was tired about a transaction that was wrong since the beginning: a honest dealer would not lie about his stock and would refund me immediatelly instead of keeping answering that he would do it ASAP.........let's say that i felt lucky to get a broken watch.....

Honestly, I have not had much trouble with our TD's here.

Hont, Toro, Tony - all have come through for me with really fast shipping and with the same watch as in the QC pictures.

Sorry to see that others have not been as lucky (I also buy alot less reps than most people here)

Same for me, only great experiences, specially with Angus from puretime. Trustytime is not a TD in RWI. ;)

I have a poor "gut feel" about Trusty Time because they offer "Swiss Movements" as an upgrade. All I have seen makes me doubt that they can get them.

It just sets off warning bells in my mind.

Look, any dealer can send you a shitty watch, these are reps and these things happen no matter which dealer you buy from, or which watch you choose, or what price you pay, it just happens that some watches break and others don't.

You can buy a cheap $100 rep that may last years or you can buy a $300 piece of crap rep that last weeks, there is no way to know or for the dealer to know WTF the watch is gonna act like once you get it. Every rep you buy is a risk I don't care who you buy from how or much the dealer coddles you.

If you want to buy from non TDs go ahead do what you want, if your smart you will stick with the TDs here, but of course alot of guys aren't smart, and common sense is lost on alot of people.

There are plenty of stories of not getting whats paid for, or ordered, or expected. Use your head.
