My decision!!...To take total control....

To avoid any further problems, And issues arising from deleted posts....And...edited profiles...Me...and only ME...Will have complete and total control...daytona4me...Will be the only other person to have access to the admin panal...Aside from tnik..but he has to have it..As he helps maintain the site..And is not part of the day to day activities here.....

All staff have been moved to MOD privs only..I repeat...Me and d4m will be the only staff to have access to the admin panal..I hope this eases some concern..Any of you had..

publically throw my support behind all of them.. They do a great job for me and for you, however.. it
is difficult to retrace some of the issues I stated above if eveyrone has access to make these changes....Too many cheifs,. not enough indians..
They deserve the respect that they have earned over the last year here on RWI and I support all
of them 100%...

I agree Cuc...but it may be a step in the right direction a little too late. This place has lost a whole bunch of good members due these problems and a mass of others who have been banned. Although addressing one problem is definately a step in the right direction why arent other problems addressed at the same time as well? All this is doing is putting out small fires when theres a forest burining in the background.
The only time that it appears that a problem is addressed is when someone is publically called out...why does this have to be?
Other times when a problem is noticed were told basically that this is not a democracy and fervently reminded that this site is privately owned...I believe thats what D4Me stated in one of his posts.


Furthermore, I am not trying to be shitty about this or stir up the pot...Just in case it sounds that way. Im only stating what I see and read.

I think you have moved in the right direction also. The mods have done a great job and given many hours of time to make this place better. However, I do agree with your decision today 100% It was time to make some changes and I think you made the right choice. Things can only get better now.

Very good move. This should help to bring more stability to the forum. There has been a lot of issues airing about since last weekend, but most of the participants have been brought back into the fold and there is a lot of light at the end of the tunnel. I've noticed more people from RWG coming here more then ever and liking what they see. I know I like it over at RWG as well. So as soon as we can get rid of the "US" vs "Them" BS, the forum should smooth out nicely. At least we all hope it will.

@drmmaster.....I understand your feelings.......and would like to add the following...!

RWG and RWI are forums that have been set up for the benefit of the members......to privide information....a discussion area....and access to our heart's desires.......both forums share this mission......!

Bearing in mind that there is a cross fertilisation between the members and dealers of both boards......I would ask that both Timmy and Tommy.......ask their respective members to show respect to each others boards and members......let's try to calm the waters between the boards....if each Admin put up a post asking members to be respectful and advise that negative comments from members towards the other board won't be tolerated.....and will be dealt with.....I'm sure we could establish a better relationship with each other......!

There may come a point in time when either board may be down for a period of time.....and I'm sure that it would be much better if members who choose to spend some time on the board which is up....are going to feel more welcome than otherwise......if we can gel together and develop mutual respect.....!

Both boards are different......and that can only be good for the community as a whole...no need for any of the boards to feel inferior or superior.....celebaret the difference......but with respect to each other....!

I've also read member posts about "totalitarianism" and other such twaddle.
It's actually called "owner-ism", a concept wrought through the annals of time and quite popular indeed within non-communist countries around the globe.
It means in our instance, that the owner/proprietor of this internet forum may choose who he wants as his agents, and who he will allow to participate in here.
He may also terminate said priviledges of anyone at his pleasure, for any reason he sees fit.
If this concept is unsettling to anyone, then they are welcome to start up their own forum to run as they deem fit.
Pretty simple math.

I personally think Tim is making great progress in getting this situation under control, and personally support the very recent staff changes toward this end.

Klink certainly has a place on the Boards, just not in a leadership role...

I for one agree with TTK's comment as well - RWI & RWG should be brother's, not enemy's...

We were at one point, and I would welcome the renewal of that...

One last thought - The renewal of Pug's membership would go a long way in the goodwill department...
