My custom Luminor for my son, very slow in the making

I have a couple cases on order and some dials from athaya. The case I'll be using is this:

and one of the dials he's making for me is this one:

which has "PJR" my sons initials and the bottom is his DOB. Not sure exactly how I want to do the dial, but I think I wanna go with an off-white/brown vintage look. I will update as the parts arrive and my build starts.

Thanks, but I wouldn't consider this anywhere near awesome, it's merely a two minute job in Photoshop just to get an idea how it would look like.

not prints, he does custom engravings. The indexes are all the way through and the type is halfway... wax fill

Something like this, but a little whiter dial. Although, nothing is set in stone... and Im sure I'll paint a few times before I decide on the perfect one for me.

I already have the strap in mind too. One from our very own bradj. He's going to be making me a 26/26/6+ mm strap that'll look like this...

I think itll play perfectly against the light dial.
