The only thing that jumps on my eyes is the font of the bezel that is a little different from gen.

Correct.
There were 4 bezel variations, differentiated by thick/thin font and other minor details. Thanks to new photobucket policy all web pics are gone so researching the matter is an hard task indeed.
Anyway the only option I found is from Yuki, numbers have better shape but they look too condensed to me. Since it's not cheap I'd rather wait and be sure before advising its use :)

If I think you just saw Panerai world ... now I just have to really get my compliments for a piece not easy to accomplish like that of 1655. You're a great one. :applause:

Se penso che prima vedevi solo mondo Panerai...ora ho solo da farti davvero i miei complimenti per un pezzo non facile da realizzare come quello del 1655. Sei un grande.

:applause::applause:

Thanks L., means a lot from the first friend I made here :)

I asked Kilo to create a 1655 aged about 1972 (my birth date, I am a child!;-)

With his professionalism and passion he told me every choice, always asking my opinion before purchasing a part; now I am really enthusiast about final result of his work......and I immediatly ask him to make his "magic" on a modded 1675 I purchased on July, and we are thinking about making of a 1675 with "exclamation point" dial.......

He is a great guy, with a natural predisposition to this kind of works, and I will go on with him for make my watch graals came true (hoping to convince him to put the hand on a Lemania for a lovely 6263/6265 ;-)))

Thanks again KILO!!!!!!!!

... Rep tubes are total crap plus they are superglued inside the tube hole. You never know what will happen if you try to remove them.
I didn't know where to source a new one so I went McGyver style (my favourite style tbh ;)) ...

... I dont't have a watchmaker's lathe (at least until tripdog ships the one he promised to send me ;)) nor any other exotic tool. Just a dremel plus a bunch of sanding and polishing tools ...

McGyver Style, handtools and dremel ... that's all what I love :yes:

Wonderfull build by a highskilled modder
Congratulations and ral my respects:clap_1::clap_1::clap_1:

Beautiful build Kilo.....not a watch I had previously been interested in, but this looks amazing. I'm now a true fan, and delighted to be a customer too.... Looking forward to receiving my fist Kilowattore build!

The end result looks fantastic Kilo!! Very nice work on the casework that is whats left to do on mine and I will be happy with it!

Truly the bezel and the orange hand are the big tells on this model. The arrow hand you used is good..but the bezel is the glaring error.
I have two. The yuki, which is small condensed like you mentioned which to me is closest to the mk1 bezel on the straight hand 71 I have one that I got from the M2M that is closer to the mk2 bezel. The big tell is the Flat 4. finding the right bezel can be tricky and some of the reps do come with a decent example. It may be worth buying a rep with the right bezel and swapping it over. I may do that yet when I get around to it...but for now I will focus on the case work over the winter.

Great job again, this is one of my favorites in my collection as well that hasnt been getting much wrist time because I am currently in a Exp 1 phase....between my 1016 and 14270 but I think the 1655 will be getting wrist time this coming week thanks to you!! cheers

Very very underappreciated watch imo, doesn't get much love, but I have one, on a Donerix yellow hornback matching the lumes...

I believe this is mk4 bezel and oh yeah the dial is a little extra special, the rolex crown is a frogfoot and it's rail dial too

@kilowattore cool build. I've got one, but I've gotten too fatigued to mess with it. Kinda just like it as it is.

ON TO THE DATEJUSTS!!!
