Warning newbie inbound

. I’ve just started assembling watches and have completed a few builds. Recently I started a rep RLX GMT using a 3816 with a 126710 case. Dial is on movement, hands on and stem is cut to length. Was in final stage and realized there is no movement spacer. Got the clamps in but still moves so am assuming I need a spacer. I’ve researched like crazy for info on 3186 movement spacers and am coming up with nothing. Am looking for guidance on the spacer. Is one required with this setup?
If there is a gap between the movement and the case and you can't anchor the movement to be solidly stationary then some filler needs to be added to the gap.
I've used many different fillers including bracelet tape, dial protector (plastic) strips, fishline, O rings and thinned crystal gaskets. I've also home made some metal rings by shaving the inner and/or outer perimeters of other rep spacer parts. Ofc a lathe would be ideal to make a custom spacer but there are plenty of ways to get by with a DIY.
You can make these spacers pretty or not, it really doesn't matter as long as they don't move around or shed debris. The movement has to be immobile or you can scrape up the dial edges on the underside of the rehaut with stem operation.
Here's a couple of examples.
Thinned and notched crystal gasket.
Spacer made from the plastic ring that new movements come with.
