Thanks RADDAVE, I knew there had to be a correct name, no idea why 2813 was assigned to it. I will credit you for this info next door on REG.

Id love to be the one who actually discovered this, but it was our own aratron who first posted this (although he got the name wrong). i was able to get the correct name with the info he provided.

That sir, is actually a picture of my watch there on the bottom. My SOSF with the newbreed hibeat.
I was having the same problems as you with the date changeover.

I swapped out the movement with a new sellita 220.

Dfer777, i suggest you do NOT try to find that exact same movement as you have right now as they are very problematic.

As i said before, swap it with a 2836, a sellita 220, or a real 2836 clone.
Or if you want the same beat, go with a 2846. Im not sure if there is a 2846 clone available

Raddave, thank you ! Now the date change works, but now I can't find the winding slot. On my other BP when I unscrew the crown it pops out into the winding mode. My dealer says to ship it back? Of the three movements which way would you go? Thank you, sir.

Well now if you ship it back, they are either going to swap the movement with an identical working movement, or repair the existing movement. That mvt is probably never going to give any longivity. Plus the customs risk and risk of loss in the mail....

If you really like the watch and think you might keep it for along time, id opt to swap it out with a gen ETA2836-2 or a sellita220

Itll cost you more, but in the long run youll be done with the stupid problems, and you will have a nice, good running watch.

But thats just me.

I have tried to give as much information as i could to help you make an informed decision.

You are the one who is going to have to make that decision.

Good luck and keep us posted !

Raddave, I thank you so much for your time, and information. I will now research and try to locate one of the two movements mentioned above, then try to see if I could swap it myself. Although I would probably be smart to send it to katt and replace the stem and tube. By the way,I found the watch above doing a google search, it turned up on a website called watchuseek watch forum.

You are quite welcome !

While i think you might be able to pull off the actuall movement swap yourself, the fact that you would still have to deal with the DWO alignment would make Katt a very wise choice. Those can be very tricky to get right. In addition, your hourhand might need to be resized a smidge to fit the ETA/ Sellita movement.

That is a nice movement, and a good price. I would definitely go for that.
