Well said. I too have the V6F Spectre.. Mine is the V1. I have it on the gen nato strap too! The watch is almost 3 years old now. Still works fine so i see no reason to get the new ones. I don't need two of the same watch.

In fact, i'm wearing it right now at work!

The same with me.
you can go for the curved spring bars. This meets the gen as well.
Lol.
I bought the tool for it on eBay for 10€. It was the thing I wanted to look gen like.
But as I said, it turned out, nobody believes in an Omega Nato.

I don’t care how close to gen something is. If it has a MISSPELLING on it, I’m out.

I rather have front side and everything else that is important close to gen AND have misspelling on unimportant place, than to be vice versa.

I know that nobody else can see the miss-spelling but I don’t care about what others can and can’t see. I simply cannot enjoy wearing a watch with such miss-spellings.

Same for me - as soon as I saw the mistake, the MKS was ruled out. I know it’s hidden, but that would really grate on me, and there isn’t really an easy fix.

i have a VSF, and will at some point try and source an MKS bezel (which hopefully fits) and that will be the best of both worlds in my opinion.

i don’t like the Bond logo on the bracelet, so will wear it on the nato, and wait for the non Bond version to be released. hopefully MKS and VSF can sort their errors by then.

I received my watch a few days ago. the build quality is better than my old v6f. the total weight of the watch is comparable to the gen. The v6f was much lighter. the dial is dark with a structure. grain is very close to gen. lumi is strong as v6f. Bezel action is very solid on both sides and the buckle has a very gen like click sound. The v6f clasp clicked very cheaply. The shape of the bracelet is like a gen without sharp edges, and it feels a bit stiffer than v6f. watch run 2s per day and overall it is very good rep for price and it's definitely the best version on the market.

Congratulations.

To me this has the best bezel.

But the hour markers look fake (wrong colour, texture and outline). A lot worse than vsf

Dial texture looks spot on.

yes, i agree with it. bezel look really good. washout effect is much smaller than on v6f. I do not have a gen in my hands, but the photos do not justice.

Great to hear! How is the lollipop, and did they fix JEWET?

If I could have vsF dial/hands in this watch, it would be perfect.

The lollipop defect is not an issue, you can see a Tiny spec on a moving (ticking) lollipop hand.

lollipop runs smoothly and I do not see any manufacturing defects
flaw with jewets is still there

i think he meant that the shape of the end tip of the lolly pop second hand. there is an issue. it is not a perfect circle.

Looks good. But yeah, the hour markers look really off on the MKS. I did handle the standard Seamaster 300 the other day to take a closer look at the dial and markers, it's a far cry from the rep and looks so good. It's basically the same dial as the Spectre. Liquidmetal numbers on the ceramic bezel looks really sharp. Hopefully I can acquire the gen of either the standard Seamaster 300 or the Spectre Seamaster one day.. That is if I can find the Spectre at a good price that is. The Spectre model sells way beyond it's retail price now.

I was going to get the MKS but those hour markers are a deal breaker. Very bad.

The VSF has a bad bezel (deal breaker) and this has even worse dial markers (also dealnbreaker)
