Nice post mate - just was I was looking for as I am about to purchase the V5.1, but one thing I miss:

A week ago I tried out a gen AP Diver, and I was surprised about the feeling of the strap - not like any other rubber strap I've ever tried. It felt so massive and yet flexible. For some reason, I thought it felt a bit like a car tire (meant in a positive way ) -

The question:
Can you say something about the overall feeling of the rep strap compared to a gen strap?

i will add more info on the Rubber strap, as i also promise bimmer to check on the width, but at the moment i dont have any rep buckle and rep strap.

Will get one probably in 3 more weeks, then i will tell you how its feels etc.

The Noob 5.1 strap is VERY close in feel to the gen diver strap, way better than the V5 strap. If you order a 5.1 I would pass on the gen strap. The only reason I needed it was because my smaller wrist needs an XS strap. Also the V6 Diver strap is supposed to be better than the Noob 5.1 strap. Mine will arrive tomorrow so I'll be sure to post a comparison.

What size is your wrist Diablo? Mine is about 6.4" i wonder if i need an XS strap as well?
