Is it not enough simply to buy a new 6497 movement (Swiss) and install that? I'm going to order a 45mm cali dial from DSN with blued hands, unless the gold hands that come with it could work.
I agree, Enzo. That's truly the beauty of it. I just wondered whether the new movement will prevent the thread stripping. In other words, will the existing crown work with the new movement, or will I need some sort of adapter?
