Picked up this "Mini-fiddy" from TWP a while back, and finally got around to taking some pics. Threw it on a GeF from E, and it totally transformed the watch. I will be "vintaging" the watch soon, likely in a couple of weeks - so these should serve as good "before" pics

This is probably one of my favorite personal watch pics

I like how the stitching on the strap compliments the color of the hands

beautiful movement (look at those bridges!), thick strap, and lovely buckle!

Nice domed crystal

Another movement shot - I actually like how there's no needle regulator, don't know how true this is to the older panerai models

as always, comments appreciated - thanks!

The mini-fiddy case is fantastic. No collection is complete without a watch with this case, IMO. I have a custom "vintage" watch in a mini-fiddy case. I'm thinking of swapping out the mineral crystal with an acrylic/plexi one. It would add to the vintage feel, I think (as a bonus it wouldn't ever explode, either. ).

Don't worry about the lack of a regulator needle. This is a fantasy PAM, so there is no gen perfection to strive towards. Enjoy that thing, 'cause it's a beauty!

Did you go round to Ubiquitous's kitchen for these shots?

Nice shots and very cool watch, great alternative to a 47mm Fiddy.

You better believe it's fantasy, but it's all the reason to get one. Change the dial, change the movement. It's your watch so customize it as you see fit.

I'm actually ready to pull the trigger on one right now, but I have a question/concern about the crystal. This is probably going to be likely to explode, just like its bigger brother. Where, then, can we get the acrylic crystals? If I can source one, I will buy one right now, today.

Thanks.

VWF, I have a bookmark for some domed 35.5mm acrylic watch crystals at home. I'll post it in this thread when I get home from the office. I don't know that they'll fit for sure, but that's the advertised size for DSN's replacement sapphire crystals. I'm *assuming* that it will fit the mini-Fiddy case, but I don't know that for a fact.
