Powerful stuff Luth, I'm not an American so have no right to comment on how your country is run but your IRS, wow, that's some power they have.

But, both you and I need more politicians like this. Someone with
balls to tell it how it is.

Good luck, Phil

Anti Big Government ? The same party that wants to regulate a woman's right to an abortion. The same party fighting marriage equality wants to talk about Big Government.

And, by the way... how about woman's right to think, before spreading her legs?

This is the United States. Were you living here when Roe v Wade was decided by the Supreme Court ? You don't get to legislate women's vaginas. So it's cute that you post YouTube clips about these dummies wanting less government when they want to legislate morality.

Since 1980 I am a registered Republican. This guy does not speak for me. He seems like a loud mouthed ditto head, a knee-jerk teabagger. Glad he represents a district in another state.

I mean, these guys were pretty quiet about the IRS until this latest scandal. Government's too big? Depends on who's in the White House. It sure didn't shrink when Dubya was at the helm.

Just like the folks screaming about the NSA now. When Dubya blessed us with the Patriot Act and his henchman John The Pentecost Ashcroft , they were quiet. Be consistent.

Supreme Court??? What a joke... A bunch of political prostitutes, with zero credibility. By the way, at Roe vs. Wade I was 8 y/old, and didn't live in US.
When the child has a heartbeat and movements, and able to feel the pain - it's a KILLING of a human being. I'm sorry, if you don't understand it. But my point not even about that. My point was about responsibility. When you overdraw your credit card, bank punish you, lowering your credit score, and you pay hefty fees for your stupidity. But liberals don't care responsibility - big deal, get a fak, then abort. So, what is more important - your credit history, or human life?
I guess, I know your answer.
I voted for Bush Jr the first time. I felt like a tool for doing so later on.
Congratulations, now you voted for an American Disaster.

Not being an American I won't pretend to understand the political system. However, coming from a country which is currently going through a very divisive, very emotionally charged abortion referendum discussion with the aim of amending our constitution, I know how strongly both sides can feel about this.
Personally, I'm not in agreement with it, but can see there being arguments for certain cases. Pregnancy through rape, fatal foetal abnormality etc. I think it is quite naive to believe that abortion should be denied to women and that they should learn to abstain from sex to avoid unwanted pregnancy. It would appear to me from what little I know this is the Republican's stance.

This topic could run and run, but mainly I feel that just because I don't believe it to be right in most cases, doesn't mean my belief system should be imposed on others. A woman should have the right to choose what she believes is best for her, and with the appropriate counselling and support make that decision either way. I have no right to deny this choice to any other person. Being a man, even less so.

Surely women in the US should also have the right to choose?

Isn't the US supposed to be the "land of the free"?
Isn't "Freedom" something that is touted by all parties as being part of the American way and everyones constitutional right?

As an outsider looking in, it sure doesn't look that way most of the time

Nobody saying abortion should be illegal. Rape, incest, early abortion are perfectly OK. I didn't talk about banning abortion. I'm talking about sense of responsibility. You wanna fak around - use condoms, pills, whatever. And if you don't want to - get abortion early. Why wait 5 months? And if you're totally clueless, and have no any sense of responsibility - like in bank case - pay hefty fee - cost of abortion after 3 months should be around $5,000. Trust me - it will cut abortions rate so significantly, that the problem would disappear in a few months. And yes - aborting the living, moving human being with heartbeat and ability to feel the pain IS a killing. Period. Blowjob is not, KBH, nobody bite your cock off, I presume...

Sure. Sometimes inaction inside the beltway is not a bad thing, though.

These days it seems that when anything gets through the House it so pork-laden that we are worse off than when they were just sniping at each other.
