Its safe to say he didn't ship it, come on thats way to long. He F'ed you man period.

The funny part is that he did send me a tracking number for USPS, which is probably bogus.

Has anyone dealt with filing a claim with Moneybookers?

the tracking number from USPS typically is for confirmation of delivery. If he sent it straight from the post office, than it'll record a shipout from station thingie, but if it's from the local yocal mail booths, then it wont have that prescan thing. I've had this happen to me before.

he should have a copy of the tracking slip, he should scan that and send it to you as proof of shipping. if he threw it away, then he's a fool that is not CYA'ing and is obviously screwing someone over.

He can't even reply to a simple PM. I think he gave me a bogus tracking number because I called USPS and they can't pull it up either.

From what I was told, he was banned under a different name at RWG. So, maybe the same over here. If he does send me the watch, I will be man enough and apoloigize. However, I will NOT apologize for letting everyone know how shi**y his communication skills are and that he never follows up.

About 4 months ago I purchased a watch MICAVI had in the sales forum, not a lot of money. First thing was no PayPal he didn't like them, so I sent a moneyorder to him. Waited a couple of weeks no watch, should have been about 1 week in CONUS, PM him, he was very slow with any replies about a week later he forgot or something so its in the mail tomorrow. Then the watch was returned to him for some reason but to a different mailbox he rarely checks so it sat there for a while. About 6 weeks later I get the watch, he gave me a few excuses and I thought I would never see the watch but it did show.

Later I see him posting about bad trades or something. Its funny how someones posts get colored differently where there is personal history involved.

I never posted a review of the sale, I just chalked it up a bunch of errors. And I'm sure if I said something about the time involved people would come out about how their transaction only took 3 days etc with him. I'm not a heavy poster so who's gonna put any weight on my review.

Since then I have bought from other members, delivery 3 days after payment always.

Well that's my experience for what its worth.

If MICAVI is the scammer, then that makes ArleighBurke innocent, doesn't it? Because AB called him out and MICAVI defended himself better and AB was the one that got banned instead.

I think you guys are out of luck... MICAVI's last post on this forum was on 9/8/2007 and he edited his sale posting on 9/14/2007 deleting the contents of what he was selling. An attempt to erase the evidence is my guess. I also was tempted with this deal, but that "Burke" thread looked fishy.

So in the end... THE WRONG GUY GOT BANNED! Ooph!

 i saw the sale post on rwi and pm'd him about the MBW 16610 sub. heres the conversation un-edited:

hello micavi,

i puchased the pam 063 from you a while back.... i am interested in your sub as i've been searching for a mbw 16610 for a while. i was actually going to post my Swiss Eta Black Dial SFSO for trade. i was wondering if you are interested. Purchased from TWP and have about 3 days wrist time. its practically brand new. otherwise i would like to purchase this from you if my wallet will allow it. what is the best price you'll let it go for? (again no offense to a lowball offer....i may just have to sell the SFSO to fund this...)

thank you,

stanley

Since we've had business in the past, I could go to $315 shipped. I wasn't planning on going any lower than $335, but if you want it at $315 then it's yours. LMK. Thanks.

So I'm assuming you're no longer interested?

I sent you two PM's and you've read them both, but haven't bothered to reply.

I think it's kind of rude to inquire, and then when I take the time to reply, I just get ignored.

Please just let me know one way or the other.

Thanks.

hello micavi,

i do apologize for the delay in reply. i was interested in your original reply and went to look at the pictures on your sale thread. somebody repied "payment sent" and feedback bot repied "sold to None". i figured i was too late to purchase since it was sold to someone else. i got your second reply this morning and still do have interest your MBW. i forgot what mods were done since the title is now "..." with no info on the watch. i had inquired about a noobmariner eta with a dealer but would definately would rather have a MBW. it is possibe to decribe the mods and attach a picture again?

again no pun intended but i thought it was sold already. when i got your message this morning, i kinda got excited and told my wife i wanted to buy your MBW since the previous buyer fell through. i had to start the day early today but intended to respond when i got back....and here i am.

please advise,

stanley

Thanks for the reply.

The only mods are a noobmariner bracelet, which has the correct hollow midlinks. I also have a watchmaterial pearl and aftermarket insert that have yet to be installed, I'll include them at cost if you want them. I have also had the crown guards modded.

Once the pearl and insert are installed, it's a hell of a rep. The only thing really left would be a genuine crown and tube. Maybe a new datewheel too.

So for $315 I'll sell the watch with the noob bracelet and crown guards modded. For an extra $35 I'll include the pearl and insert.

The pictures were uploaded to imageshack and I didn't save the links to the pictures, if you want I can take fresh pics.

micavi,

sounds good. i'll take it all. i was wondering if you still had the original MBW bracelet?

if it's possible, can you provide a picture of the CG? who modded the CG's? was this purchased from TTK? i can send payment thru paypal or WU.

thank you,

stanley

I do have the original MBW bracelet too. I'll include it with everything else if you want it.

This was purchased from TTK about 8 weeks ago.

The crown guards were modded by my local watchsmith, he has worked on many of my watches and I am always very happy with his work. The camera I have is pretty cheap and it wont focus in close enough to show the details of the crown guards, but I can assure you they look great. If you get the watch and aren't happy with any part of the watch, I'll give you your money back no problem.

Let me know if you have any more questions and we'll go from there. Thanks.

I can take WU or Money Gram. I used MoneyGram when I bought the watch from TTK and it only cost $9.99 which was a lot better than WU. Let me know which you prefer and I'll send my info.

Okay, you can send it to:

M*****l D***d
Davis, CA 95616

You just go into the grocery store, or where ever they have a MoneyGram closest to you, and use the phone they have there to send the money. Go ahead and use a test question too, just to be safe. If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks.

You should do it in the store and it's only $9 dollars. Online they charge the $24 dollar fee. Next time do it at an actual MoneyGram location and you'll save yourself a few bucks. I won't be picking it up until tomorrow so if you want to see if you can do it in person and only pay $9, I can wait. I will be shipping via USPS 2-3 day priority.

michael,

i did go to the store. i picked up the moneygram phone they have setup and called customer service to get the confirmation number. i asked why it was $24 and she said "it's 24.00 anywhere in the CONUS. it's alot cheaper outside the country."

so i paid cash. again the Reference number is 50504***

thank you,

stanley

This is a real drag. There was a major issue with the buttplug going by the handle 'hewhoislikegod' at RWG and he had ripped off a bunch of people there and was subsequently banned. They even published the guys photo and real name and address. I am sure if you do some research the threads can be found at RWG. Locked I'm sure. From the sounds of it the guy was a classic rip off artist. I hate hearing of this, but then, anyone doing business with these whack jobs should be very careful.
