I want to know the full story!!!!!
I'm more than happy to explain Pap.
Tyson was doing a publicity/money raising stunt an hours drive from where I live. I wasn't even aware until early afternoon yesterday. A friend of mine phoned me (knowing I'm a boxing fan) offering two free VIP tickets to the event due to a couple pulling out.
It was a rush job to say the least. Me and the missus both had to leave work early, get suited and booted (strict dress code) and we made it just in time for a photo opportunity with Iron Mike himself.
So we are in line. The card that Tyson is pointing at was pure sponteneity. I spotted a marker pen and thought, 'To hell with it, the guys on the forum will enjoy this'.
I had to go past two security guards prior to the photo. I asked for permission to display the card, explained that it was for a friend who was too ill to attend the event. I got the all clear.
So I approach Mike and he says, "What does it say?"
I told him what I told security and he happily posed and pointed at the RWI card. I left and was called back to have another pic taken without the card by security at the request of the photographer.
I then enjoyed drinks, three course dinner and a mediocre evening of entertainment followed by a speech by the man himself.
When this was over it was time to go and collect our photos. Problem.....mine couldn't be found!
I failed to mention that I'd paid £20 for the photo. I approached a staff member and told him that my photo was missing. He pointed me towards a door and told me to ask for Stuart. I went to the door and it was locked.
A monster of a guy let me in when I asked for Stuart. I explained the above and spotted what were three banned photo's. Stuart was the photographer and is the most aggressive and annoying little prick that I've ever encountered. I explained poliely that I'd paid my money and wanted the photo.
To cut a long story short, things got heated! Within a minute I had three gorillas wanting to kick the living shit out of me. Three bouncers and a photographer pushing me around. I'm not a fighter or a tough guy but there was no way in hell that I was leaving that room without a photo or a refund.
They were demanding to know what RWI was, accusing me of using Tyson to advertise my business and one guy threatened to put me on hospital food before giving me a dig in the ribs. My friend found me, the pair of us stood our ground. I wont be bullied or pushed around by anyone!
Woke up this morning with bruised ribs but came away with the photo.
