MEGA PIX: XTAL Comp QF & CF Le Mans (Gen, stock, deep)

Its just me or QF looks better overall?

I went with the QF because of sunburst, red on "Daytona," and case finishing

Clean stock xtal looks awful especially next to deep which as always said is fully in par with the gen.

CF Crystals are garbage - and they really should have found a better supplier by now. I often read that they have improved them (they haven't) and the cloudy look is because of lack of AR and therefore they are more gen like... They're not - they look cloudy because they're cloudy. Probably grown too quickly in a cheap and dirty lab. I like my reps OOTB - the last thing I want to do is swap the crystal as soon as I get it.

Plated QF is a lighter tone than the steel Clean. Same thing going on in my plated THB DayDate.

Can you show the case profiles of the QF and Clean side by side?

What are their caliper-measured thicknesses?
