Reference guide for all the photos I’ll post:
1:00 = QF Tungsten with old movement + GEN Crystal
2:00 = QF Tungsten with new 24h movement + DEEP
3:00 = Clean Factory Stock
4:00 = Clean Factory Deep Crystal

Verdict: Deep isn’t all that necessary on the CF, but it’s a tinge more clear than stock. I believe the CF dial isn’t superior to QF, as CF’s is darker and with less of a sunburst.
Gen Crystal on a Daytona is also unnecessary. Stick to Deep
The winding feel on the CF also feels more gritty and less buttery smooth than the QF. Not sure why.

My choice? New QF Tungsren 24h with Deep

Great post, thanks. Deep looks pretty close to gen in my eyes. Clean has to up their daytona crystal quality, thats for sure. Sorry for the off topic, can you confirm that the clean movement has the 24hr counter working correctly? Susanreviews reported that its still a 12hr counter, while others claim its the new 24 hr. Thanks.

Thank you! I would say the best one is the new V9 QF Tungsten with the 24h truly functional subdial + DEEP crystal.
It winds the best, has a perfectly clear crystal, weighs 170g, true superclone 4132 movement, and has the best sunburst compared to CF.

Clean stock xtal looks awful especially next to deep which as always said is fully in par with the gen.
Cant see well on the pics: how is the clean rotor tone and engraving quality compared to the overall weak lookin qf one?
How is the sunburst vs the great qf?

great post, I like the QF dial better with the great sunburst. Also, CF needs to have a deep crystal. Some pics in the sun with the original CF crystal looks awful. And I love the weight on my QF, not 100% correct but better then 140 gr.

I think I agree, QF geneve striping is better than Clean, maybe the engravings are a little bit worse.
