Measuring a J12

I need to measure my wife's J12. I don't remember if it's a 33mm or 38mm.

Since the case is oddly shaped, which points do I measure to tell the size?

If anyone has one, and can offer advice, or even better, take a pic of your J12 with a micrometer showing the size - then I can use mine to match it.
