What is that lesson lol? The collection is sweet, but it is a bit absurd considering it’s full of Chinese toys. Honestly I’m more impressed with the cabinet and little details like the plaques. He could sell that cabinet to Panerai to actually fill with gens, it’s a damn nice cabinet.

I remember a long time ago a guy named TANFOGLIO had a crazy amount of watches and his panerai collection is complete (along with countless straps).
Except, I don't think he hired a carpenter to build a wooden shrine fit for daily prayer & reflection.

Wow, that's quite the collection! Major props to you. The cabinet complements the watches' aesthetic perfectly. Panerai watches are my favorite! I believe that the wristbands are crucial for the looks of Panerai watches - they truly define the look. You've got an impressive variety as well to choose from!

I completely agree - The cabinet itself is a thing of beauty. Was the collection broken down and sold?

I'm so glad this thread got resurrected. I wasn't here soon enough to see this the first time around.

I think I understand the OP's mindset. I've had one museum-quality collection in my life. Took a lot of time and money to pull it together. Was great fun doing that, and there were some really rare pieces in it. And after it was complete, I looked at it, and found it unfulfilling. It was truly the pursuit, and not the ownership, that I found appealing. Once the pursuit was completed, I was done. Sold it off and never regretted it.

The only thing I find sad here is that this deserves Panerai's attention, but being reps....they would probably not only not find this impressive, but they would find it offensive.

This makes me wonder if OP got the display before or after getting the watches. Suppose I had a watch display that large, I already know my poor self-control. Having more watch slots just makes me want to fill it with a new watch.
