Hello everyone
I wanted to share my collection with you all one more time. It has revolved and is finally complete. So many rare models and frankens, it’s been a lot of work to get to this point.
Although I will now be breaking it up and selling half of it off it’s been amazing to put this collection together. Hope you all like it.

Unbelievable, the time and effort that’s gone into this blew me away the first time but still has me speechless each time I see it!

I have admired your collection and the incredible cupboard you built for it since day one. I am still at awe.

Amazing… @Fusible wishes he was you lol…hell probably take down your entire collection in one slug, I would actually prefer that tbh, save us all the anguish of seeing piece by piece get snipered.

Brings up an interesting question…when does it switch from wearing to collecting?

The collection above (unbelievably amazing) is a perfect example…at some point it stopped being about LOVING every individual piece, its about owning every iteration. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, and I respect the hell out of it, and would love to see it in person, but it is collecting. Same thing happens with cars…people buy cars at some point (Leno and Seinfeld) to just have them because theyre missing that particular model, not to drive it.

Most of us start by buying watches to wear, so we buy what we like and what we enjoy seeing on our wrist (the first few purchases). Then you start appreciating rare pieces and custom and franken, etc…At some point though, you start buying things because theyre just rare and you cant pass up the deal, or NWBIG, or they fill out a gap in your collection, not because you actually enjoy it on the wrist (or you just start LOVING EVERYTHING like a proper addict lol). Where does it switch from loving the watch vs loving everything else around the watch like rarity?

Ive seen it in my collecting…at first I only bought what was “different” from what I already had and what I “needed”. At some point though, the litmus test for “different” got more and more narrow before I had 3 of the same PAM just w 3 different dial colors lol.. or bidding on a PAM I dont “LOVE/NEED”, but is rare so why not have it? Lol

Such an interesting addiction/hobby we are all partaking in. I wouldnt trade it for the world. I told my wife…I view spending $X a year as not really spending money…im just parking money in something that brings me joy year in and year out until I move on and then I basically get my money back (minus ~25%ish) so its not really spending money like a night out at the bar or casino lol or buying a car where you lose 50% almost immediately. In a lot of cases if you buy good pieces and hold them, youre nearly breaking even

Amazing collection @maccabigdish , truly impressive. My comments above are more introspection about my own insecurities than anything else lol…im in absolute awwww and wish I was you lol.

After reviewing it even further, this is really the definition of a labor of love. The cupboard is gorgeous and really does make your whole collection.

Panerai should see this (although the actual brand managment may not give a f*ck...). It's museum level collection, and it's beyond the concept of gen vs replica at this stage.

This is simply a live "through the years" catalog of the brand. I believe no other such Pam collection and storage/exhibition set up exists anywhere does it ?

Really lovely collection.
That is a lot of time and effort.
Almost a shame to break it apart.
Hopefully a big chunk goes to one buyer instead of each piece separately.
