MAYBE A JOURNE REP IN 2023!!!

Want to launch again the topic of F.P journe reps, I’ve seen all the threads about this in the forum but I have some news!!!

recently talked to ryan from intime watches and he told me that factories have finished developing a caliber with a small seconds at 7 and they are still thinking about how they can do finishes of the movement or if it has to be a closed back as were the first journes
So, we might see in the next couple of months dropping a chronometre bleu ( not with the blue lacquer dial since it’s too complicate) but the same model with different dials combinations such as the light green or the white one on the market !!!

Introducing a decent rep of any Journe model is going to be a challenge for the factories for sure. Non the less it would be extremely fun to see what they could come up with.

You'll probably get an Elegante rep that will look hideous just like the gen. Any other model they can't come close to repping accurately.

They Finished a caliber with the small second at 7 so now it will not only have the brand on a crappy watch. Ofc the v1 will not be perfect but at least it will be really similar « looking » to the gen

There are plenty of speedmasters out there with TD but maybe you’re talking about the accuracy of the chronograph

Nope. Frankly I think many of the FP Journe craze makes no sense to me. They do make some outstanding pieces but I think the demand right now is being driven by the exclusivity that's been created. Same as Richard Mille. That being said I don't see a rep of these watches ever being close to accurate.

It’s exactly what is going to happen …. Sad to see that when factories are trying to respond to demand…

The biggest issue would likely be any factory getting their hands on any decent FPJ to do a proper 1:1 case and dial set up. I imagine any FPJ is difficult to purchase as it is. What we’ll end up getting is a “rendition” based on a picture from their catalogue. That would be sad at best….

Considering that 30% of the dials from every Chronometre Bleu is rejected because of color I doubt the rep factories will even come close

I am sure the factory owners are loaded and don't have issue getting gens however.
