Maurice lacroix Tide clones.

Just thinking out aloud here.... If you are after a cheap bright plastic watch (if you are) surely the Maurice lacroix Tide looks a great little watch for £50.




Comes as a full set as well. I know it's double the price of a moons watch clone. But let's be fair original or clone they are pretty tatty. I've just ordered one. I'll leave a review when it lands.

I got it while researching a case for a metal moonswatch project. I want to try and put a mechanical in it. Not sure if it opens or is too thin a profile but looks cool enough to have a nibble.

Also just ordered one. Went with white strap dark blue case. I preferred the baby blue one until I noticed the dial is iced out . Guess a more feminine design.

I almost went with that one... Tbh if it's reasonable quality I might get another. Like I said has to better than the shitty moons watch.

An Ali seller is claiming sapphire but I'd be happy with glass. Plastic would be disappointing.

The watch in your photos looks fantastic, but I'd be disappointed with a plastic crystal. My seller continues to insist hers is sapphire and said anyone who has a plastic crystal simply didn't buy from her. She even sent me a video of her tapping the crystal to show its hardness. I'll see when it arrives.

FWIW theonewatches also claims there's is sapphire but they're asking $188 for it!

How is the quality of the rubber strap? Is it decent or just cheap sticky silicone?

Can you please also post a photo of your caseback? Wondering if there's more than one factory making them.
