Regarding our dilemma, Mel and her sons have been trying since Saturday to find out what the hell was going on re her mum, their grandma and been fobbed off and pushed from pillar to post to no avail
In the end she came out to me today and said those four words which I have only heard her say on one other ocassion in our 22 years when her daughters boyfrend was beating on her ....
"OK, do your worst"
That basically means one way or another this isn't gonna end well for the recipient(s).
This time though I used my nouse, dealing with these type of establishments requires a diffent approach to sorting a drunken drug taking G/F beating delinquent out
I made one 10 minute phone call to a good friend of at least 30 years from the Boat Club, who is a very well versed real world Solicitor who I have used for many of my business years and motoring faux pas. I gave him the facts and details.
Within 2 Hours the whole sorry mess was rectified.
Mother in Law was found in Portree, instead of our local Kyle of Lochalsh Undertakers Branch, (which was alledgedly full), and she is now ready for her 650 mile trip transportation to England for the funeral in 2 weeks time.
All paperwork has magically been found at the Care Home and now emailed to the correct places, then the registrar rang and sorted the actual death certificates for insurance, pensions, bank etc and then she, (registrar) emailed all the relevant docs to Mel and the institutions that need them.
