Meet up at starbucks-mingle and show off each other's watches.
Then titty bar after-paaarty!! 8)

spend some of that rep money

I am afraid there is no good "adult ballet" in Millbrae - Mitchel Bros. would be the place to go afterwards

I am in Healdsburg about and hour north in the wine county. Count me in.

...Hello. Don't they have a luthiers school for guitar making in Healdsburg? I tried to make a Martin guitar once and ended up smashing it like El Kabong...

Not that I know of but I have been just following the wine trails. Maybe we could start smashing bad reps in protest at our get together.

I will be in for the first part of March. I will be in Maui the later part :D so hopefully that time works for others. I live in the East Bay, work in the South Bay and have no issue getting to SF. The previous GTG's centered around the SOMA area at some of the brew pubs and Momo's but the one and only GTG ended up in Pleasanton.

Cheers,
CM

I live in Napa, so count me in. Just not too far down the Peninsula. No farther out then around the airport. Saturday the 10th would be perfect for me, but I can make most weekends in March.

Sounds great. Just let me know. Crumpdaddy lives here as well, although he has been absent from the site lately.

...Maui huh? you lucky dog. I've never been to Maui but honeymooned in Kauai. I have no problem getting to SF either, its my second home...SOMA, Union Square (Tourneau and eating places :) ) I know some dont' like the traffic but I don't mind. I just hope my schedule allows me go it sounds like fun and would love to meet you guys... :)

hmmmm

still open maybe is Ribeltad Vorden?

maybe the Blue Unicorn?

Shame of course is closed down the jazz klub Blackhawk..

ahh, to sojourn between rounds of the SE Asian War Games..

when was not about losing dying being victim, rather

in surviving the wonder of man so peaceful.. and then came

the alarms of burglar, the attack dogs and the horrors of druggie dealers..

when people left SF for someplace safe, like Chicago..

makes one of a puzzle how screeching peaceful can be..

gtg.. nice surrounds.. good times with good folks..

Reflections in a Crystal Wind

The Golden Road to Unlimited Devotion..

...funny you should mention all that because from Mar. 22nd to April 22nd at the Geary Theatre there is a play called "After The War" that is playing. The setting is Filmore Street 1946 and the play is about the more than
100,000 Japanese Americans that were imprisoned by the U.S. government during WW2 and Japantown in S.F. became a ghost town. The play is about those Japanses who returned back to the neighborhood after the war. The play is infused with the jazz rhythms of the neighborhood and about those people who built the city with their lives. Sounds like a great play. :)

is more than play.. is reality of then shown now

and playwright has got good tools and sources..

can remember the time when 'the fleet' owned what is now

called the 'Tenderloin'... blue suits everywhere, with dragons

emboidered inside sleeves.. rolled up in bars for show..

and.. all now mostly of all forgot..

during wwii was grey days and wild colour nights..

sf the queen of unspeakable...

and the song goes on... with proudness of folly...

interesting place has been is will be..

Life is Good!

well, it looks like we have 11 people that would potentially participate I would say that constitutes a GTG - it would be great if everybody that is interested could send me a PM with their email address and call out the preferred day - so far it looks like the majority is for March 10th or 11th.
thanks and hope we can get this together.

I think maybe Crick owes you one, given the extent of your previous distasteful rant. I know I do.
