So fight fans, who's gonna be watching this tomorrow.

pacquiao-vs-mosley.jpg

Personally I can't see anything other than a Pacquiao win. Mosley, despite his age, is no mug though and carries some firepower. If he lands a good one on Manny the Phillipines could be in mourning.

Naaaaahh.....that wont happen.

I love the big fights and can't wait for this one!

Comfortable win for Manny I think. I really hope Pacquiao Mayweather happens next, but it probably won't.

I'd be very surprised if Pacquiao didn't win convincingly!

According to the oddsmakers, this is a big mismatch. Pacquiao is roughly a 9 to 1 favorite to beat Mosley. I think Manny will win but rate Mosley's chances better than 9 to 1. Look at their last common opponent Margarito. Mosley destroyed Margarito with a KO win while Manny pounded out a lopsided decision that went the distance. Mosley definitely has a puncher's chance and my money will be on him if I can get better than 7 to 1.

Good point. Pac Man is best pound for pound (possibly in history) but you cannot write Mosley off.

Sure he's lost some speed but a boxer never loses power!

A 7" reach disadvantage is a HUGE equalizer also.

I'd put my money on Pac, but don't think its going to be the huge mismatch that everyone thinks.

Then again Tyson almost always won with a big reach disadvantage...... :hmm:

Tyson was a different animal. The likes we will never see again!

Meh, I just don't see how Moseley can provide fans the kind of fight they have come to expect in a match with Pacquiao. When Moseley fought Mayweather Jr., he hurt him in the 2nd round but didn't have the stamina to finish him. He just looked tired the later half of that fight. Mayweather is, or was, just too fast.

Pacquiao is fast AND can throw a punch from almost any angle. His stamina is the stuff of legend. Margarito had a reach advantage as well 17 lbs. when they fought and still got his ass handed to him. Manny threw 1069 punches the entire fight, landing nearly 50% of them, most of those being in the "power" category. He made that stupid beard Margarito was wearing a target, with the highest concentration of those punches rearranging Margarito's face and breaking his orbital bone. I just don't see how Moseley poses any kind of threat. Anything can happen but I foresee Moseley being shamed like De La Hoya was when Pacquiao ended his career.

I've followed Pacquiao's progression as a fighter from the beginning. This is the first time I've deemed one of his pay-per-view fights not worth buying. I'll catch it On Demand the following weekend.

If Mayweather Jr. would stop beating on the baby momma' or drawing yet another assault charge for parking tickets, maybe we could have the fight of this century. I'm afraid Manny will retire long before that could ever happen.

I get your point about the ppv. Over here I pay £52 per month for a satellite TV package....films, sport,, everything HBO etc. And still whenever they show a big fight you still have to pay an additional £17.95 to watch it.

Fortunately with this one it's 'free'.

You seem to have a good boxing knowledge G30. Many years ago I went to Vegas to see Lennox Lewis v Tony Tucker. The undercard was fcuking awesome....JC Chavez, Terry Norris, Julian Jackson, Michael Nunn etc. Tom Cruise was there sitting not too far in front of me.

Hilight of the night was blagging an invite to Don King's after show party at the Mirage where all of the fighters above (excluding Lewis) were in attendance. What a night!

I dislike Paquiao with a passion. Almost an unhealthy hatred. He's a cheater. Many people know it. That's how he has that "stamina" that you all admire. He's just another product of the Steroid era. I grew up watch Hagler, Hearns, Duran etc. Mike Tyson was a lion in the ring. They were all clean. I doubt Mosle has what it takes, but I doubt it.

Naaah, that's bullshit. Mayweather started that shite cuz he's afraid to face him. Pac Man aint no cheat!

Hagler, Hearns, Duran......add Leonard to that list. The Fab Four.
