And nobody asked but, I use the one and only Fiebings saddle soap and neatsfoot oil. Anything else is an imposter.

could try something like beeswax. i havent tried this personally, but i use it on my boots. i would probably feel better about this on skin than some chemical spray. maybe ill try this on one of my cheap etsy straps ps it will definitely darken the leather considerably.
