Lume Quality

Why is the lume on my $100 ESQ way better than any of the reps I have? The ESQ will stay luminous most of the night. Inquiring minds want to know.

Good question. Could be a number of things but boils down to just bad Lume being used by the mfrs.

your esq probably has superluminova on it and the reps do not

The best lume is Superluminova also the most expensive. Most reps don't have Superluminova applied to the dials and hands.
Also the most powerfull is c-3

I agree... The RC Tritec Superluminova C3 is the brightest non radioactive luminous material available. Most importantly, the glow lasts the longest too. Here's some shot to confirm:

Is it odd that I don't like my watches lighting up the room? I find it kind of obnoxious when at movies, watching tv., etc. As long as I can comfortably read the time I'm happy.

The idea is readability at most conditions. It's not going to light up the room you've seen blown up photos of lume.

Haha no I do have a pam w/ superluminova and yeah it doesn't literally light up the room but it's always in the corner of my eye and bugs me. Who knows maybe I'm just nuts.
