Posting this as a test. Forum looks great with the new colours but the varying sizes of everyone's avatars and sigs is very annoying. Well done to the mods though, sounds like a monster job!

we have talked about this allot. if they are moving fast like rg they are jiggly and blurry like theirs. they need to be readable instead of giving everybody a headache.

the ticker speed is fine, some forums ticker goes the speed of a U.S. sitcoms end credits!

"Ticker" was the word I was looking for - thanks König! (But I was pretty close.) Speed somewhere between our and RG's would be nice. A bit slow for my taste, but to each his own.

It is working much faster for me too... Nice Job fellers.

I do notice one thing. Before logging in all the threads are Private, which is good. However the Get-Together Threads are still readable to everyone before logging in. It might be a good idea to keep these GTG threads hidden from the general public.

Just a thought.

Well, I haven't been a forum member for long so I never used all the features at the old forum. However, it seemed to work just fine, so why change it?

This new one is way too S L O O O O W!

Hopefully it will get fast and I assume there were good reasons to get the new one. I don't know if this transition was announced, but if it was, I completely missed it. I found out when I tried to log in only to find out I couldn't. I wound up sending two e-mails to the webmaster, both unanswered, and finally by trial and error, I got my password reset and got in. Nice to be back.

This may have been mentioned already. If so, this is a post in support of the original post. The deliniation between posts and posters is difficult to see. Responses to posts seem to run together a times. Perhaps a more defined outline to each post?

guys this looks great, i have move forumhosts on different forums in the past and the are ALWAYS teething problems such as slow refresh rates etc but these do resolve themseves with both admin and time.
It would be nice to have a seamless changeover but in reality with a forum of this size (ie lots of pics) it will take a little time for things to settle, but Im sure it will be fine soon.
please guys hang in there it will be worth it and keep in the back of your mind that the folks running forums usually work on it in their freetime.
thanks to the admin/mods for making the change Im sure the new environment will be an improvment on v1!!

Use a different theme. The Underground theme doesn't do so well with that...but I'm on CA Serenity DarkBlue, and it's perfect.

I tried switching to CA Serenity and the others but it will not hold that skin as I change pages. Always goes back to Underground. I changed it in the User CP(Also tried the drop down at the bottom of the page.) which currently says it's CA Serenity?

Also, CA Serenity appears as white background with blcck text...very bright. Is that me?

Up to now I've noticed my posts before the upgrade have dissappeared along with some of Franciscos tuto's and my message box is a bit funky...hopefully normal service will resume soon, suppose we're lucky compared to RWG.cc when they upgraded recently, must be hard work going on in the background, thanks for all your efforts...

Skins hold with Google Chrome but not IE8. I'll just use Google Chrome.
