Looking to buy my first PAM 111

I just received my PAM111 Noob "v4" and it's great! I sent a picture of the front and back to a jeweler friend of mine who knew I was buying a replica, and he put it to a test unbeknownst to me. He took the 2 pictures and posted them on a watch trading group on Facebook under the guise of "I'm being offered this watch, is it legit?" I thought it would be picked out as a replica immediately since he put up a picture of the back. To mine and his surprise, it took a 30+ year watch veteran to call it a fake, only because the pin on the crown screw guard was sticking out a bit. Everybody else was on the fence! There were a few "I don't like xxx about it, but I'm not sure" and one person chimed in thinking it was a genuine. So, the only real tell from the 2 pictures was the crown guard pin. Granted, if these industry veterans had is in their hand to closely scrutinize, it would be a different story., The point I'm making here is under normal circumstances once I bring the pin flush, it's indistinguishable from the genuine while on the wrist. Nobody called out the strap, the dial, hands, case, just the pin. I'm truly amazed at that response! I'd say this is clearly why it's considered a "Super Rep"

So, all that being said, I'm assuming getting the pin flush is a matter of pressing it down a bit further with the right tools, anybody have any other tips?

Also, the blue fill of the Officine Panerai engraving on the movement is missing a small piece, has anybody had to fix that? I saw this in the QC photos, but I was so anxious to get the watch that I didn't care much about it since its only a flaw off the wrist when looks at very closely.

I haven't had the time to take some good pictures of it yet, I'll get to that this weekend.

The only beating you'll do is to yourself as you let yourself be scammed. The website you're referring to isn't the real puretime website but a scam website relying on @puretime 's popularity to trick some unsuspecting buyers. This is the correct URL:

As you can see, there is no 73$ PAM111. The PAM111E has been discontinued for quite a long time already and isn't available anymore. If you want the most affordable PAM111, check out @torobravo 's website for the starter PAM111.

Thanks again! I'm actually also considering the PAM177. One of the members here is selling it and really strongly considering it. Looks like the difference is just the bezel material which is titanium on the 177.
