Sorry to hear you got stooged :(

Seeing as the deal soured and no doubt left a bad taste, perhaps you could post the sale price now, so at least the community benefits from knowing roughly what these things go for.

Ooooh so f**king close! :(
Can only agree, what a POS seller... Well he probably ripped a new a-hole and drained some other poor guys wallet.
...Or he was a total scammer. Would be interesting to hear where that complete MVT came from if you ask me.
But sure sucks if you got a good deal on it and lost it in the end.
I feel for you man.

I got an email from him later that night:

"sorry mate for dissappointing u....i dont want u to be angry over it since v had a good chat...i will give u for 1000 swiss francs lik we had a deal before...just confirm it so i will send u an invoice..."

I guess the buyer who offered him more money backed out. This guy is too fishy to do business with. I'm glad I got my money back TBH

It really doesn't inspire confidence to deal with this guy....

Someone that does this, could send you a rep movement too.....

I would walk away.

Definately weird guy....plus I wouldnt think that someone out there could sell Hublot movements. If Jean Claude finds out he will pursue him in court.

The starting bid was $500. i bet if their wasnt any interest from the forums, it would have only gone for about $700. Its pointless paying more than that. I would understand if it was a complete custom built movement. But i understand their are people willing to pay a premium. I remember the seller asking for over $1300 or chf 1300 for it.

oi!!! :lolcina: you should have kept quite about it. I had my eye on it :D

Now the whole forum knows.

+1 on that. There should be a forum rule that prohibits posting eBay links to such deals. That just makes things more expensive for us, potential buyers, as people that saw the link here will just bring the price up...

If it's a Buy It Now then no problem but when it's an auction, the fewer people knowing about it the better for the final sale value.

This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.
And one guy, with username Hublotista, and his forst post on wus is selling "a genuine Hublot 7750 modified movement that can be found in 44 mm Hublot Big Bangs" for 1200$...

Weird or not?Same guy or not? You choose.
