Look! Legend built me a Hybrid 5711

Freshly arrived Legend built 5711 white dial let me present you, true piece of art I must say, so darn happy I am, a top bloke he is.

Specs are as below:

Base 3kf 5711 and PPF dial
Complete movement overhaul
Crown thinning
Bracelet/case edges beveling + polishing
Mod to fit ppf dial
Waterproof and Pressure test
Custom DW Installed and aligned
Relume ppf dial and 3k hands to match

I normally hate show-offs and despite being a good brother most of the time, peterchao is really one of the most obnoxiously competitive people I know. We compete in food photography on a daily basis and the insults he sends me when he thinks he has won, are beyond words. The gall of the bugger :legend:
But this Patek was build specially for the boy despite the acrimonious rivalry we share over non-watch matters and I am happy that there is nobody else that can present it in the way which he did.

That said, I’ve been seeing posts about delivery / QC delays on 3K pieces. peterchao, I’m curious if you encountered something similar or did you get your base before that?

That is correct dear. It is the suggested way of us to go for this type of build as the PF bezel is slightly better than the 3KF base one but it can also be done with the base 3KF like it was done here. The watch pictured here is a very nice example.

Mate, congratulations on a wonderful build by the Master legend himself, this gorgeous lady demands your attention and looks to have all the curves in the right places.

The crown thinning and bevelling work made such a huge difference to the overall look of the watch and I'm sure the feel when your wear it.
