So foremost I searched the forum to find a similar topic and I'm not quite sure if this is also the best spot for it. In both cases, if this is a mistake please allow me to apologize in advance.

Actually I was playing with the idea or better to say after I saw the Titanium Yatchmaster 42mm - 2023 release topic, I thought to myself, this Titanium YM-42 would be a perfect watch for the new James Bond film coming in 2024-2025, but for some reason, since there is always a perception of an Omega watch in my mind, I wondered if different brands have been used in the historical process and what has been used, and this thread was shaped entirely with this thought. I think there are interesting points, I hope it also attracts your attention. On the other hand, if I'm opening a topic in the wrong place and out of my depth due to inexperience, I apologize in advance to all concerned.

I tried to look at the correct information and sources as much as I could. The list does not claim to cover all watches, and despite all my checks, it may contain possible inaccuracies.
I dont want to promote the sources or create some backlinks to them but in order to be objective and fair, I think I need to share my sources as well, it might be a bit different way of sharing, but I hope you can understand this too;

What a guide! Excellent work and really interesting seeing those vintage Seiko quartz watches through the timeline. Kind of want to have one of each, all superb in their own way

I'm glad it was appreciated, it was a major experience for me and I agree, fantastic watches... Also seems like Seiko Watches made a mark on a period in James Bond movies.

Do you have any of the watches yourself in gen/rep?

Love this, as a huge Bond fan, I appreciate it.

I must correct you on A View to A Kill. While he indeed was outfitted with a Seiko "Datejust", Roger Moore also wore his own Buckley Dialed Rolex Datejust, as pictured on the thread. Roger did this in most of his movies.

Another instance...

For The Spy Who Loved Me, in the scene where he is indeed Commander Bond... he chose his own GMT-Master Pepsi.

Which movie did Roger start doing this? You guessed it... his first... Live and Let Die, where he wore his personal Tissot Seastar Visodate. He also wore the Tissot on The Persuaders!

No, I don't have any of them, but there are some that I might add to my collection ;)

Thank you for your contribution, I was confused by the seiko looking so close to a rolex datejust... But I can't add (no editing the thread..) the given information about the Buckley Dialed Rolex.

Pulsar P2 2900 was the world's first digital watch with a numerical display instead of hands indicating a number on a ring of static values.
Hamilton decided to bring it back in an updated version by presenting the PSR model, a 50th anniversary tribute to the first marketed digital watch, released with great fanfare in 1972 but first announced in 1970 (which is why the anniversary is being celebrated this year).

In addition to being the first to use an LED display, the Pulsar was also one of the first watches (after the Seiko Astron in 1969) to use a quartz crystal to keep exact time. The price at launch was $2,100, the equivalent of $13,000 today.

The sub in license to kill wasn’t a 16610, it looks like a 5513.

I think you're right. I always assumed it was either a 5513 or a 14060. I don't think Bond ever wore a Submariner Date.
I thought about the 14060 as well but being that the film was 1989 and the 14060 didn’t start production until 90 if I recall correctly, I swung for the 5513. The dial also looks like a 5513 to me(Swiss-T <25). I miss both of those models. Such classics.

OP just curious, have you seen all the movies? Which is your favorite? While all were good some standouts for me were The Spy Who Loved me, that Greek girl was beautiful and gotta love the Lotus. Also the introduction to Jaws if I'm not mistaken. Golden Eye, Casino Royale 2006, MoonRaker. Man, I need to refresh my memory. They always used to have those Bond marathons on TBS, a cable channel, and I would record all of them on VHS tape. I might even remember where I have them stored. That's how I heard of the brand Omega. I was like WTF is that after I paused it on the watch. Never noticed it when playing Golden Eye. Looked it up in 2001 on my dial up internet connection. I thought I was pretty slick pausing it and thinking "I'm going to see what James Bond is wearing". Saw the prices and as a poor kid just out of school said HOLY SHI$!!!! followed by Nope. It was another 9 years before I got into watches and suddenly the price from 2000's watches wasn't so bad.

To be honest, I plan to sit down and watch the entire series, and I think it's going to be really enjoyable. However, on the other hand, we have to postpone our desires due to the uncontrolled passage of time and the scarcity of time we can now allocate for ourselves. I hope I will have watched all the movies in the shortest time possible

I've been rewatching them in order for the last few months, and have finally caught up on many that I never watched. I use to watch them on the old TBS marathons with my grandfather when I was a kid, but never had the time to watch them all. Now I have the 2 Dalton films left and I'll be caught up.

You're not kidding on allocating time, I had to space each movie out on average of 2 a week. Some days I could only watch half of a film and resume the next day. Totally worth it though!

Did you have a favorite or some that stood out more than others for you? The Dalton ones are pretty good. It's weird because they seem noticeably more modern than the others until the Pierce ones. There isn't a bad Bond movie. I even rewatched Quantum of Solace which is probably my least favorite and it's still not bad and it's entertaining. And it has Olga kurylenko 😍. That girl from the Hitman movie is fine as hell.
