Beautiful day albeit hot 36C. Concerts on the beach all day. It is indeed a JKF. Haven't touched it yet, got 3 new JKFs in last week. Wear them unmolested for a while.
Omega cal. 265, gold, 1947, 36mm with crown. Cal. 265 derived from the earlier, vintage military spec 30T2 as used during WWII. The 265 is one of the calibers also used in the Ranchero. Morituri was the latin Gladiator-salute and it´s the name of one of the lesser known, great and cerebral WWII-movies. The drama is set on a cargo-ship, with an intricately evolving espionage plot, intelligent cat and mouse plays with unexpected turns and twists.

You need a nice old pocket watch movement with the seconds at 3 for that beauty. They're cheap and fairly easy to find.

Bought this NATO for my 1675 project. The dial is not ready so I try it on my BC. Looks nice.
