just finished my first 5513 too. So I get the emotional attachment to that first build. You know all the places you messed up but still you can't bear to part with itThanks! This was my first ever build and case reshaping that I competed some years back. Started off as a JK 5512.

Just seen , be interested also to know where the insert came fromIt's a nice colour and thick font... numbers look a little close (especially the "20") to the inside and it needs a new pip though! @ronin007 - Have you seen this one?
Lovely. I wish someone would make a no-date dial of this. Maybe I should learn more about decal dials and figure out how to make one myself. Gilt would be killer.
Great watch , where did you get the insert please
Right on. One of my things is putting together favorite bits and pieces into fantasy watches that were never made. No date Tudor 76100 gloss gilt dial in the style of the Sub 5508, in a Sub 5508 case...now that would be near perfect to me.That would be a fantasy build, no date and gilt, why not!
Gotta figure out what to do with my Breil Manta. Find either an replacement, original style quartz, an auto that would fit or just sell it. HmmmmRight on.
