That is going to look awesome! I have a Rolex 3035 movement and am considering having it put in my matte dial 16800, TC case modified (by Trip, shallower rehaut like this). Does anyone know if a 3035 can go inside a TC case, or must it be a Phong case (or the unicorn ST 3035 cases).... what about a 3135 movement? Will that fit into a TC case? Does the shallower rehaut make a difference as far as fitting he movement (sorry if that sounds dumb, but I don't build the watches, I just source the parts)...

those are two great builds! Whats the jubilee on the 1675? And what are the specs if you dont mind. Do you think CAC is a better alternative than going gen?

fake is never better than gen, but CAC does have the best aftermarket inserts. The only gripe I have with his stuff is that even though they are beautiful, the color too even. he does offer now fake aging and it does look better.

Getting serious man, I see the shollow rehaut correct for a 16800 sub what mid case are you using? Nice gen movement btw

Thanks and yea, it's a reshaped Startime 3035 case. The shallow rehaut is very important for a 16800 build!

It depends on how your TC case was modified to create a shallow rehaut. For example, creating a shallow rehaut can be done by removing metal beneath the rehaut from the inside of the case (IMO, this is the proper way of doing it) or by removing metal from the top of the rehaut (the easiest method, but it only creates the illusion of a shallow rehaut and it risks having the crystal touching the hands).

A member here managed to install a 3035 movement inside a startime 3135 case by removing metal beneath the rehaut from the inside of the case.

Also, only the older TC that uses 2836-2 (e.g., the TC V3 I believe) could have a higher chance of being able to fit a 3035 movement inside (e.g., https://forum.replica-watch.info/for...te-16800-build). The crown/stem/tube height and dimension of a 3135 and 3035 is slightly different.

Off the cuff build - but I love how it turned out. The "Tiger Black Bay '57"
