This one just came in...I believe as close to a grail as I've ever had...a 1965 5512 with a service dial, hands and bezel insert. 100% Rolex!! It has seen the polisher over the years, but it is exactly what I've been looking for. Originally it was a gilt 4 liner....but my MBK 5513 with a gilt dial will scratch that itch if I need it!!

The 5512 joins its cousins, the 1675 and 1680.

Enjoy!!

connery77 nice Daytona! What are you driving with those gloves on?? A Porsche 356 would match the time piece rather handsomely

I'm in need of a strap like that btw, mind sharing with me the origin?

Thanks! I was just driving my faithful daily Jaguar XJ8. My hands were freezing that early in the morning so I decided to wear gloves. It was in the 40s, which might as well be arctic weather here in LA.

I don't know the origin of the strap. I just got this watch in a m2m on a different forum this past week and that's how it came. But I've decided to move it along; it's for sale in the sales area.
