I had my 1655 on when I slept on the backseat of my car once, that knocked the balance assembly off little bit. Had to do a service to get that fixed. It's a bad idea to wear a watch when I'm sleeping ... [emoji16]

it's a 6084 semi-bubbleback with recessed gold numerals and matching dauphine hands. Got it off one of the sellers on VRM and absolutely loved it.

Indeed! There's a few variations, yet it looks best when the coronet (edit: realized I said dial lol) is recessed together with the numerals too. This specific piece was from 1953.
Wait...what?? I think there is more to the story....I think it damage to your movement might might have been do to the actions prior to you falling asleep in the backseat of your car hahaha ...I cant imagine sleeping with a gen movement would cause it to mess up.... Not very rugged explorer like then if you ask me lol
Had to try this one on a leather strap also, but I don't know what to choose, good thing that you can change from one day to another.
