I think it looks nice, but you should definitely age the dial and hands too
And then of course the case, crown, bracelet..... Haha
Ah, you must do the bleaching outside in the sun, then it goes really fast. If you do it inside it hardly has any effect
Yeah dial and hands would be next but I don't think I can do that without disassembling the movement and everything??
I tried bleaching in the sun, but it had zero different effect. Just turned purple ;s must be the bleach concentrate we have here

I have to say I really like the purple.New faded insert attempt.
My last experiment left me with a somewhat purple-looking insert. Have no idea why, perhaps because the bleach-concentrate was too low. Today I gave it another attempt.
Before:
I then popped out the pearl (I really dislike the stock pearl on the JKF. Looks nothing like gen).
Tried purchasing another brand of bleach and left it for 30 minutes or so. It had little to no effect at all. Insert still remained purple with no further fading. In my frustration I then made a mixture of Toilet-cleaner, lime-cleaner and a little bleach. Left it there for around 20 seconds, gave it a good stir.. Because of a very foamy mixture I couldn't see what was happening, so I took out the insert to have a look and to my surprise it had now turned blue!
I'm pretty happy with the result tbh - what do you guys think?
