Yep found it in an old box that belonged to my father. The Pierpont was in there too. Most of the other watches were in bits. It is a pity he had a very nice Omega at one stage, but it disappeared, I used to love wearing it as a kid. It was on a black perlon, I remember it very well. I think I remember it been brokenvery interesting piece
i had a very similar story years back, my dad had a 6694 which was broken as heck. it was not meant to be taken diving but he did as he was in the marines awhile back.Yep found it in an old box that belonged to my father. Great picture of a lovely watch. I haven't seen many like this & the strap makes a perfect combo
Clarks 1675 bezel assembly is very gen like and will take gen inserts. It does have to be polished to the desired finish though. Comes bead blasted and ready to finish.
Nice blueberry Yodog!
SureAny tips on how to polish the Clark bezel? It looks great on yours.

Sure
When I did my first couple I just polished them. The problem was that they lost the thin flat edge against the insert that the gen has. Now I sand them smooth with very fine 1500 grit sandpaper on a wooden toung depressor. Then with 2000 grit film. After that a polish with jewlers rouge on a bench mounted wheel buffer.
Using this process leaves the leaves the little ledge in place like the gen bezel.
