Thanks for the tip on the bracelet. I'll have to give that some thought. The build price has really crept up on me and I am not sure what path I am going to take yet. Getting a base watch from Silix really was an incredible bargain. It's a shame that this is no longer possible. Just to recreate the base Silix watch from parts is going to cost over $200. Then you need an Athaya crown, the crown/tube installed, lugs drilled, and it all adds up.

Here's my Puretime red 1680 with gen vintage crown installed. I have not done any aging to it yet. I'm wearing it every day and letting it age naturally.

Here it is with a Clark T19 service dome installed before the gen crown. It lasted for about 4 hours before it started cracking due to the plastic gasket. Now the rep crystal is back on.

Pam127: love the 951Max dial there!!! Excellent build. The case looks like a DSN case with an Athaya crown yes? Good choice on the 3602 Molly with the interesting Rolex engraving, did you do that yourself?

Guess what came in today!!!

I have to thank Mike from RG! Great to deal with and just happened to be traveling to CONUS this week. Mailed it Monday from NY, and was waiting for me today when I got home from work! Built by Daz...
