Seriously? I was looking at this watch last night and talking with friends about it. I've seen one in m2m a few month ago. I don't remember the spec but it was a damn nice built with gen parts including thunder second hand. I don't understand why this vintage is not more popular... Maybe like the gen. But I definitely love this underrated watch. I hope you will build some and I will have a great pleasure to see a review and some nice pictures of it.

I love the Milgauss since it's part of the 6541/6542/6538 trinity of the 50s. Been spending a lot lately but I f it! YOLO! Haha

I saw that one but think the dial Lume is a little too much for me. My build has similar spec and I can say without a doubt that Slay is right in terms of how hard parts are to get for this damn watch.

Quick rundown (I'm sure I missed a few things)
Phong case (correct with Faraday cage for the movement)
Gen min/hour hands/ MQ seconds hand
MQ dial
Gen 1030 serviced
Gen crown/tube
Brass bezel plated nickel worn down
Case completed reshaped/beveled/chamfered

Do we know who has bought this wonderfull piece?
4000$ was a fair price regarding how much cost the case and the mouvement alone. It is a matter of taste but i prefer creamy lume.
I didn't know about the trinity, but love all of them.
Even if you make this Milgauss my love will still go to your Steve McQueen.

I have the same problem but since cutting down to only 4-5 vintage Rolex it helped a lot. I used to have 35+ reps lol
