How future-proof are our watches? This is a thing that keeps crossing my mind. If my clone 3135 dies, I can replace it as long as the factory keeps making em. But since Rolex moved on to the 3235, and factories rep those watches - and so those movements. I guess it's just a matter of time that clone 3135's are no longer available. Let alone parts....

You get a clone movement that accepts all gen bits, I think you’ll have access to those Swiss aftermarket bits to keep it ticking for awhile…
I do it very "common" ... I have a SH3135 as spare movement and also a VS3135 as spare movement in my drawer.
Just to be safe in any case in future, cause I have actually 5pcs. watches with 3135 (SH & VS) movements as SuperFranken builds.
So I either need to stock up for a couple decades or sell it off to ease my mind...
