Noob here. Just ordered my first rep from Ryan .... a Noob CrPO. Received it yesterday, but discovered it was not running even after winding and doing what was recommended from RWI. Thanks! Contacted Ryan and he got back to me promptly with plans on to resolve the problem. Plan on returning it for repair. He's been very courteous and helpful in all regards. Looking to get a seadweller 4000 from him next! Starting to enjoy this hobby.

Has it taken anyone longer than 3 business days to receive QC pics?

And what happens when you reject the QC pics? Does the TD req. another watch from the factory, or do you get a refund instead.. how does it work?

Hi, You´re welcome, it´s all a complicated business to start with so take the time to get infos together here: http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/forumdisplay.php/35-REPLICA-FAQ, than first hunt for pictures of the watch You are going to buy here on the forum.
Don´t reject too easily, the looks are just 50% of the watch. If rejected it will take another 2-5 days to get another sample and qc-pics. If You don´t accept the third one a refund gets probable.

I'm a newbie here but as my little experience says that Ryan is the best or almost the best...he just always replied to my boring emails asking questions for sure heard 100000000 times.
Now i am convinced that i will buy my first rep to him...just need to convince my wife...(i got some gen she do not understand why rep)...looking for good suggestions...ahahahha

Thanks for the info. Just anxious since I ordered a noob 42mm omega PO, and I'm afraid I might miss something in the QC pics. I'll get familiar with the other noob PO pics out there and I'll post them if I think there may be flaws.

Right, quick update guys.
My rep arrived this morning and it looks very good. Overall experience is good, but in my eyes there is still room for improvement.
To all noobs like me out there, do not hesitate in buying from Ryan, as everybody says, he IS trustworthy.

Where did you feel there needed to be room for improvement?

Also, hopefully this gets through to all the inexperienced and impatient buyers out there. This isn't an isolated case. I'm sure Ryan has to deal with hundreds of noobs on a weekly basis. If he has to deal with 50 pointless back and forth emails per noob, he can't do his job and that's why he can't immediately reply to you - because he has 99 other noobs to answer to.

As an update for me, I have received shipping confirmation, but I'm getting worried because tracking says my package is still in US Customs for about 5 days now, is that normal? Is it possible that they have seized my package?

Don't worry. Customs is very sporadic. They may hold for a little as a few hours or as much as a few weeks.
