Legit check on gen crystal and gen INSERT

With the amount of vitriol you have leveled at these nefarious sellers on various posts I do not think I would have any problem buying a watch from you my friend. If you are acting you sure deserve an Oscar. However I certainly do not believe this is the case.

It was only a very cheap one that needed 'hand/ e brake adjusting for mot' happy days! They delivered it and would forward on paperwork for mot failure.

Wrong! They disappeared and the car had failed on more items than it passed! MY fault for being greedy and thinking I could fix it and flip it but in the end I had a £500 paperweight and worse I had been looked in the eye and lied to on my own property as well as on line.

I got £60 scrap value for the damn thing.

THAT'S why I have it in for Scammers at the mo

Wow sorry to hear that. That explains a lot. I have given up buying cars privately. I get ripped off enough by dealers but at least I have comeback.

He offered partial refund, full refund (if i send it back) or i can send it back and he will put on the right pieces and send it back again.

I vote for a partial refund, provided the rest of the watch checks out to be ALL TC V6 parts.

My reason is that if he already pulled a fast one on you, why would you continue to do business with him? A matter of principle I suppose. You can get the gen parts elsewhere; I just saw a B25-295-CAR-C1 go for 120 euro recently. I would have surely snapped it up had I been quicker.

Take some clear pics in daylight on the best camera you own and upload them. Shots in dark rooms or under artificial lighting are poor in my experience. Look at some good sale threads and try to copy the shots that the sellers have taken. It might be a bit of a pain but it will be worth it if the guy has sold you a cheapo. Let's first establish if the watch is really a TC!

Yeah, you know... I always use to consider the worst situation... View that in a topic he wrote that his watch had "almost all the parts gen, only the movement it's a rep".

Yeah 500 euro is $537 US vs $570 US for brand new. So assuming it IS a tc and it's in good shape otherwise with all the latest tc parts $500 euro is probably fair. But you won't know this without opening the caseback, testing the timekeeping, the crown function, the bezel action.
