Legit check on gen crystal and gen INSERT

Yeah NS!!!

No one screws up shipping the wrong watch. Funny thing is, the seller is a 3 month old account, supporter, that suddenly has multple TC watches that he's added gen parts to. It takes 3 months to get a TC. I'm guessing the rabbit hole goes a little deeper.

I saw his franken tc for sale weeks and weeks ago. His first sale was nuked, then he posted it asking way too much, dropped the price significantly twice. After about 3 weeks of no sale it changed to sold but nobody was claiming it so I had doubts that it actually sold. Then a couple weeks later another tc that looked to be the same one goes up. I asked him can he put me in touch with the last buyer for reference. He said he sold it to a friend. All of my pm's with him on both occasions he avoided answering certain questions.

I smelled something fishy the whole time and walked away.

It boils my piss. I have some really decent pieces I'm going to offload in the next few weeks to fund a gen datejust and these people screw everything up for the streight sellers.

Completely agree. This is starting to be a bit of a problem.... Seems we have more and more scammers.

it's mega popular and more apples = more rotters. If enough scampmers get hung out to dry hopefully word will get out to stick to Craigslist. I think a rogues gallery would be a good deterrent

I don't know what his previous history was.... It is very odd that he'd be that up-to-speed in 3 months. Granted, there are other forums where he could spend more time...

Did you pay regular paypal or gift? Who's going to pay for return shipping? If everything else is fine with the watch maybe just take the partial refund and avoid shipping charges, shipping and customs risk.

I have a friend whos pretty good with watches (he was the one who said that the insert and crystal didn't look gen to begin with), he said he could install the parts for me.

+1 is a secret code we use to say we either agree with post we quoted or the post above it .....well, its not really so secret, but today it seems it is

With the amount of vitriol you have leveled at these nefarious sellers on various posts I do not think I would have any problem buying a watch from you my friend. If you are acting you sure deserve an Oscar. However I certainly do not believe this is the case.

You are lucky to have friends like that. Other people would have remained none the wiser.

Get him to ship you the gen parts and have your friend install them. And then create a sales thread and sell the stock tc parts back to the seller. Hehe ?

Just be sure you open the case back before you make a deal with him. You should ensure it has the correct movement in it....

I've been following this situation. I seriously doubt that seller has two of the same watch and shipped the wrong one. Now he will remove the gen parts from the one that he has (leaving it naked unless OP returns his tc versions). I think it's a scammer who got found out.
